This is my favorite scene from my favorite movie. The year this movie came out - Forrest Gump and Pulp Fiction came out the same year. In my book, everyone should see this film.
"But they depict him bald and aged who is in eternal youth All-powerful, and his locks nourish like the brows of morning; He is the Spirit of Prophecy, the ever-apparent Elias." -William Blake "Something's going to happen."
"You cannot describe the beauty and the attractiveness of David, which is the sum total of the experiences of Humanity. He comes out as the result; he is the resultant state of God-passing- through-all-of-Humanity." -Neville Goddard "I was Socrates." -William Blake
there is always gonna be someone that can be better or as good as someone like mozart, bach or just anyone in music but beethoven no one ever has and no one will ever be better than him or even be close to beethoven beethoven is literally a prophet a human cannot write music like this while being deaf true son of god
I love Beethoven, my personal favourite composer but better than Bach.. Bach is considered by most great composers themselves to be the greatest composer who ever lived. They are called the big 3 for a reason. Bach, Mozart and Beethoven are the standard all composers try and most often fail to live up to.
His acknowledgement that he is of the stars, onw with the universe...and goes on to compose what is surely one of the top five most beautiful and masterfully-conceived of pieces of music ever made...that's a lot to take in. Gorgeous.
Sharkey's machine and Rachel ward and burt Reynold's what a perfect movie with a good selection of fine actor's indeed 💗 a movie of such fine acting n great actor's I give you randy Crawford's song street life..... Enjoy all ❤
This was the earliest piece of classical music I can remember ever listening to, even though I’ve expanded my tastes since childhood this piece will always be my favourite
5:15. The scene where he is in the pond and the birds eye view where he is so insignificant, then slowly drifting off into the vastness of the universe. Perfect imagery to how his music makes us feel
This film doesn't pretend to be high art, and if you took it out for a drink, it would probably admit that the theory it puts forward is ridiculous. But it's incredibly well made, and what is magical about it is the way it is clearly made by people who adore music -- Beethoven's music in particular. It's an absolute feast for the eyes and ears.
bro i get so happy and so sad whenever i hear this song

He rests among the Stars! 😊🎉

I wonder, if he could hear his music outside of his head would he like it? Things can sound different from other perspectives.
Music from heaven!
Today, 200 years ago. The Music never be the same.
Churchill was… ok. This is what he should’ve won the Oscar for. Phenomenal performance.

My dad wanted me to be an Astronaut and I became the best twerk dancer in my hometown ( I’m a dude btw )
Is it my idea or around 5:50 when he rises to the stars, the Milky Way formed the shape of wings? Celestial being and such.
this scene makes me want to cry so hard
I'm watching it now and I got glassy-eyed as soon as Stevie started singing.

I could listen to this over and over and over. Just mesmerizing ❤
...VAN Beethoven...😀
Awsome Movie 🎥 ❤
I love this scene for that apotheosis. nothing more fitting for this piece than the gods placing him among the stars.
6:30 Saddest part of the film. The audience applauds his genius, but he can't hear it.
I love this stuff so much.
This scene is incredible, and very moving to me. One of the most, if not the most.
“when i stepped out, into the bright sunlight, from the darkness of the movie house, i had only two things on my mind: paul newman, and a ride home”
